I'm unenlightened!

I don't watch television at all anymore and haven't since this summer, really... I can't get into it, "Oh look - a completely unbelievable and scripted situation posing as drama! Let's see how the character reads the poorly written dialogue to determine a way out of it that has been conceived by such clever writers. I totally haven't seen this before." I do catch the occasional episode of The Daily Show and Southpark, though. Well-done comedy and documentaries are all that I can seem to stomach.

I esentially listen to public radio all day: news, classical music and random talk programs. My favourites so far have been an E.E. Cummings lecture, and A La Votre every Friday with Jacques Santucci - he's probably the funniest guy I've ever heard, and he says everything in French and English. Executive Summary? I'm picking up a better understanding of spoken French. Uh-oh. Pretty soon I'll be eating... ummm... croissants or something.

People talk about celebrities now, and I'm all, "What? Who?", but talk about contemporary political or socioeconomic issues in the middle east and I'm all over it. This makes me sad. I hate issues.
