Adventure

Well, it took me an hour to bike 20 miles home and to the bank. I don't think that's too shabby. It's also probably not 20 miles. Whatever. Westbrook-Portland-Falmouth-Cumberland-North Yarmouth isn't a short ride so LAY OFF.

So it was horribly wet and rainy during the ride, just like all the forecasts said. It's a good thing that there wasn't (not) a cloud in the sky. It's also a good thing that I'm not allergic to the sun. Because that would have sucked almost as much as my double negatives.

Bike trip highlights: Mackworth Island, downhill, the one stoplight in Cumberland Center, North Yarmouth Town Hall, Hair Care and Tire Center... Okay, I stole that. I am king plagiarist, though!

I got home and made the most awesome steak ever on the biggest grill ever. Since my dad shut off the water at home, I cooked my vegetables in Poland Spring water. $10 steak, Arizona Iced Tea and veggies cooked in spring water - that's the high life. Then I stole my father's pickup truck and drove my bike home because Justin and Angela wanted to go play tennis/frisbee and I needed to conserve my energy.

Today, I raked all the leaves in the side yard! There were a lot of leaves. There's now a monument built to nonexistence in the woods behind the house. Made of leaves. Maybe it's a pile. Being allergic to the sun sucks. The end.
